About Basic Green

Basic Green is the most recognized member of the Green color domain. It’s considered a relatively light color because it reaches full saturation at a higher lightness level. This means it provides better contrast on a dark background rather than a light background.

As other colors in the domain, it is psychologically linked to fertility, calmness, and hope. Greens act as transitional colors between blue and yellow, which can be read as a merge of knowledge (blue) and enlightenment (yellow). They’re often paired with spherical (bent line) triangles due to their similar association.
